The Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) course is for:
Teachers with a TEFL certificate wishing to specialise in TEYL
Teachers with experience teaching adults, but want to teach young learners
Teachers wanting a refreshers course aimed specifically at teaching young learners
Teachers wanting to improve their resumes
*This short specialised course is not aimed at inexperienced English teachers. This course is meant as an add-on to those teachers with experience and/or TEFL certification
What you need to know
You should have completed a TEFL course or have teaching experience. You´ll need to have a reliable internet connection. You should also have a good command of the English language.
This course is a short 10-hour course. You can work at your own pace and study whenever you have time. You have 15 days to complete the course.
Yes, you have 15 days to complete the course. If your course expires and you have not completed it, unfortunately, you´ll be locked out of your course. This course can be extended (for 15 days) at a fee of €7.50.
After you have completed the course materials, you have to complete a quiz (multiple-choice). The pass mark for the quiz is 75%. You can re-take the quiz multiple times. There is also a self-directed task which is not assessed.
Yes, you will receive a digital certificate for free. Each certificate has a unique reference number for verification purposes. TEFL Solutions is a licensed partner of TEFL Training College Ltd and all certificates are issued by TEFL Training College Ltd. You may order a hard copy of your certificate at an additional fee. The hard copy has original signatures, verification number, gold embossed seal and is sent in a hard-back envelope via registered mail. This certificate is accepted by the FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) in the UK and can be apostilled and authenticated for use abroad.
Yes, the Teaching English to Young Learners course is accredited by the International TEFL Accreditation Council (ITEFLAC). TEFL Solutions is a licensed partner of TEFL Training College Ltd and all certificates are issued by TEFL Training College Ltd.
